What is Back Pain

Back pain is a common ailment affecting millions worldwide. It can originate from various causes, including muscle strains, ligament sprains, bulging or ruptured discs, skeletal irregularities, or underlying medical conditions like osteoporosis or arthritis. Poor posture, heavy lifting, sudden movements, or prolonged sitting are often contributing factors.

How to reduce back pain?

8 tips to help ease your back pain
  1. Strengthen your core muscles. Your lower back is under the stress of supporting your entire upper body.
  2. Stretch daily.
  3. Avoid sitting with poor posture.
  4. Take walks.
  5. Lift correctly.
  6. Reduce pressure on your back when you sleep.
  7. Watch your weight.
  8. Quit smoking.
A variety of factors can cause lower back pain in females. While some causes are common to all sexes, conditions and factors specifically related to lower back pain among females include menstrual pain, endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, fibroids, pregnancy-related back pain, ovarian cysts, and adenomyosis.
Chronic back pain, on the other hand, can be serious. Chronic pain is serious because the symptoms are strong enough to impact your health, mobility and quality of life for an extended period of time.
These strains and sprains can occur for many reasons, including improper lifting, poor posture and lack of regular exercise. Being overweight may increase the risk of back strains and sprains. Back pain may also be caused by more-serious injuries, such as a spinal fracture or ruptured disk.
Filling your plate with fruits, veggies, nuts and beans can help ward off illness and keep your spine pain-free. Try eating a plant-based diet with plenty of anti-inflammatory foods, such as spinach, broccoli, sweet potatoes, berries, watermelon, green tea, beans and nuts, to ease your pain.
